This shoe can work well for recreational lifting. I've pushed them hard to assess where their stability starts to fall short.
Below are a few of the core and top lifting tests I've done in them.
- 505 lb deadlifts. Great stability. I didn't notice compression of the midsole at this weight.
- 345 lb squats. Good stability and if you like a higher drop, then you'll likely enjoy how this shoe feels, especially with the higher density heel.
- 205 lb reverse lunge. Overall good. This shoe flexes well and doesn't have any awkward or aggressive toe break issues.
